Red Wine
Blot with white paper towel to remove as much of the stain as possible, then neutralize with a white vinegar solution (1 part vinegar to 1 part water). Saturate the spot using a spray bottle and blotto remove excess moisture.
Next, apply a small amount of Coleman Spot Remover. Spray or dab the solution onto the spot and blot with towel.
Finally, using a spray bottle, rinse the spot with tap water and blot to remove excess moisture. Place a thick pad of paper towel or terry cloth over the spot and weight it down with a heavy book. This allows any wicking to absorb into the towel rather than drying on the tips of the carpet fibers. Let stand 12 hours.
If the stain remains, moisten the tufts in the stained area with 3% hydrogen peroxide and let stand 2 to 3 hours under a weighted sheet of plastic wrap. Repeat application until carpet is stain free.
